This event lasts 1 week, and we need Reserve Chute, which is a Free Gift we can get from our Mafia, also recruiting new mafia, fighting, robbing, and doing jobs.

Limited Time Legacy (70-47) at Chop Shop
The Limited Time Patriot production has ended and it has been replaced by a new item to craft:
This is the best vehicle we may craft for free, for attack purposes, and it adds 2 Attack skill points to our stats. This item can be produced during the next 14 days, and the first time we build it it requires 10 Engines, though the next times the requirement decreases to 5 engines.
The funny thing is that the engines we may have stocked for the previous vehicle will be wipped out, and we will have to start stocking new engines.

New Inventory Page for Mafia Wars
Zynga is adding step by step a new inventory page to Mafia Wars players accounts. When we enter for first time in the new Inventory Page, it pops up a brief help explaining the features for the new display, so let's review what offers this new interfaze.
At first view it looks impressive! It may also look a bit confusing till we get used to every piece of info we get from there.

Las Vegas Mastery has changed!
Choosing your path is now more important!
Completing job tier mastery now occurs whenever you defeat the Boss of that tier. For each tier, if you want to master more jobs or paths, you need to do so before you defeat the boss. Once you defeat a boss, all your jobs will be reset to the next level of mastery.

Bonuses From Properties Upgrade Posts
Once we collect enough sets of construction parts to upgrade a property, we may do a post to reward our Mafia, by allowing them to collect extra item from same type as the property type. In the past these extra items hadnt any impressive stats, but Zynga has released new items which stand out from the usual:

Crafting time in Properties shorted !
The time we have to wait to craft an item in properties has been shortened to 18 hours, except for Port, which keeps being 23 hours.
The cost to speed up crafting process keeps starting on 12 Reward Points, though (16 RP for Port).

Mafia Wars Home Page has been redesigned!
Mafia Wars game home page has been redesigned, and now it shows a nicer appearance. You can have easier access to jobs, fighting, and other important stuff in the game, like the time left to craft new items in properties!
Missing from there the player updates feed. Where are the Player Updates? At 1 click distance from Home page, and also you may browse to My Mafia section in the main horizontal menu, as the block has been relocated there:

Limited Time Patriot (53-68) at Chop Shop
Zynga has added a Limited Time item to be crafted at Chop Shop, the Patriot (Attack:53/Defense:68), which adds 2 Defense skill points every time we craft it in Chop Shop. The date range when this item is available is from December 10 till December 23. It is the best defensive vehicle we may stock for free in game right now.
It requires Engine parts
so as to be built. At first it was required 25 Engines, though later it seems Zynga changed the requirement and now just 5 Engines are needed to craft them.
These Engines are collected from our Mafia Free Gifts.
We may get these vehicles from our mafia, by clicking the Chop Shop upgrade notice posts, so stay alert for them in posts feed! Though getting these items this way wont add skill points to our stats.
Go Wild! Build a Private Zoo
A couple of days ago Zynga started to announce a new property:
And finally, Private Zoo has been "unleashed"!
This is a new property for New York / Manhattan, and its set up and work mechanic is similar to the other properties (Chop Shop, Weapons Depot, Armory): the property needs to be upgraded for certain levels, and each level unlocks a new exclusive item to be crafted. You can build a new Animal every 18 hours.
The Animals you breed will help you getting better equipment for your Mafia, and in some cases these animals will also increase your stats!
Each level needs an amount of upgrade (construction) parts to be stocked so as to level up the property.
Upgrade Parts are: Aquarium, Big Cage, Bird Cage, Feeding Trough and Terrarium.
As for now, the only ways to get these parts are:
- As gifts from Mafia ( they can be placed in wishlist)
- Get clicks on posts to ask your mafia to send you upgrade parts
- From Free Gifts sent by your mafia
- Using Reward points to buy parts
It is needed 71 sets of construction parts to fully upgrade the Private Zoo to level 10.
Animal Feed and sometimes Exotic Animal Feed are needed to breed the animals.
The Animal Feed may be got from collecting Private Zoo, robbing other Private Zoos, as fighting reward bonus, and also as gift from our Mafia.
Exotic Animal Feed may be got from Free Gifts got from our Mafia.
We may get extra Fennec Foxes by clicking on our mafia posts related to Private Zoo upgrading.

New event has been released, the Cake Jailbreak Event!
Zynga says:
